Frequency 4-17
Frequency 4-17 is the band I'm in now. We've been together in with our current lineup
for almost a year now. The band has gone through several changes and also a few names,
but I think now we're going to stay like we are. We are a Christian/Alternative band and we
play a lot locally, though we have travelled some distances to play gigs, we like to stay
close to home ( except for Anniston, that's the exception... ). There are 6 of us and we
each contribute our own unique style to the overall sound of the band. I'll give a brief
summary on the band members.
Chace: He's our blues guy and he takes the lead when I don't. He's played guitar for I think about 6 years and he can tear me up in a lot of music, especially fast stuff involving scales and
and blues. The band would definately not be the same without him.
Caleb: He's one of our vocalist and he adds a lot of harmony and mainstream melodies to the music we play. He is one of the original members of the band and has been with us for
the entire time. His voice is incredible and with every gig he gets better.
Hayley & Tony: Our rythym section, they get better each and every time we practice. Tony picked up bass when we started the band and he's come a long way. Hayley is very good
at what she does, she's also really fast... She and Tony give us a great foundation
to build on musically, and I look forward to playing with them in the future.
Joey: Joey has been with us off and on for quite awhile now, but this time he's stuck with us. Joey also is a vocalist and he lays down the foundation for most of our songs. He brings forth a
Pentecostal style and sings with a lot of energy. Joey and Caleb make some incredible
harmonies and give us our own style.
